For many of us sitting down and watching the news, our favorite TV program, or simply taking a nap is an integral part of the day. In addition to providing an incredibly safe way to stand and sit, lift chairs have a reclining back and foot rest, commonly referred to as an ottoman. The back rest and ottoman are controlled by the same attached remote that is used to lift the chair.
